'Contentment'

When I was healing my foot after the operation, I was listening to the Tibetan Wisdom lectures of Sogyal Rinpoche. I loved the tapes so much that I would listen to them over and over again, the whole day long.

I was taken by the teaching. Hearing his voice was like listening to music, every now and then inter-rupted by the words, "You know what I mean", and giggles. It made me laugh and gave me clarity and a cheerful feeling inside.

Sitting, painting, looking out of the window, feeling so content within myself, I painted this mandala. That is the reason why the title is "Contentment is the Biggest Pleasure".

With this mandala I deliberately created the spiral, to symbolize how life is moving and constantly changing; but the center is still, like Osho.
