This mandala helped me to sit still on my chair this summer, when I had broken my right ankle right after a fantastic birthday party.
My sister Majida was visiting me with her husband Vedam and their son Nicola. I enjoyed being together; feeling the warmth of sisterhood flowing between us. Especially painting reminded me so much of the warm feelings we used to share in childhood. I felt it very special to have the time to connect again and feel the love and care between us.

"Imagine, while breathing-in, that golden light is showering on you from the top of your head all the way down through your body out of the toes.
And then, while breathing-out, imagine darkness coming from the ground in through your feet and filling you up and making you disappear limitless into darkness out of your head." Osho
