This is the
last mandala in the Tibetan influenced series,
and also the last one of the time I was healing my foot.
When I was
sitting on my chair, the sun would shine into the crystal
hanging on the window, and create beautiful rainbow spots all
over the room, moving with the wind, gently creating magic.
I was inspired
to paint the prisma of the colours, starting from the middle
with light and then unfolding into the many layers.
When I was
painting the Mandala, I had to think of Pavita, because she
liked my first mandalas and gave me a card for inspiration with
a lotus mandala in pink.
The lotus starts
in the mud and finds its way to the light and blossoms in unique
beauty. As is the growth
of man, starting in darkness and growing into the light, shining
in its unique beauty.
I gave this mandala as a front cover for the heavenly healing music CD of Vedam, my sister's husband. Check out the music by double clicking here.
