The
magic carpet is a mandala drawn without any helping tools,
that is why it started to float and bend.
I was painting it
when I was with the Tan-Jus, the teenagers I work with during
the Christmas and Summer holidays , and they liked it.
I would paint and one by one they would come, look and
sit next to me and tell me stories of what happend in Tan-Ju,
or in their lives, or what is bothering them.
I was just painting and
then they felt safe to open up and share, and I did not feel
like I had to answer them or give them advice. It was such a nice atmosphere.
It was a great feeling, like I used to have with my
mum when she was busy cooking and I would tell her all what
had happened in school and with my friends.
