This
mandala is dedicated to the Yoga exercises that I learned from
an Indian women, Sagar. I was very grateful to her that she took the
time and patience to teach me to move my body.
At the time I had a lot of pains in my joints and I
was scared that I had arthritis in my hip. My father had
an operation on his hips and I was scared that I inherited this
illness.
Sagar helped me to move my hips again. Every day she
came and encouraged me to try. And it worked!
Now I do not
feel the pain anymore; I got really excited to move my
body, to relax into the strechting and to feel the pleasure
of feeling flexible again.
I call it Easy Yoga and I do it sometimes in my groups. I discovered that it helps to warm
up the body, and that people become more open to feelings
and experience less strain in their voices and muscles.
As a daily routine I love it and it brings a smile
on my face. This special hour in the morning - to dedicate to
myself.
