Chandrika was
born in Switzerland (1954), and went to Primary school until
Matura in Aarau. For her studies she
moved
to Fribourg and graduated "magna cum laude" in psychology
(Lic. Litt.Psychoology). She has worked as a school psychologist
in Switzerland.
Her life changed when she visited Osho in Pune in 1976 and
became a Sannyasin with the new name Ma Anand Chandrika,
which means
blissfull
moonlight.
She
undertook intensive studies in therapy and eastern wisdom with
Buechi, Hellinger,
Casriel,
Painter, Orr, Barnett, Lowen, Veeresh D. Yuson and others.
In 1978 she founded and led a large Sannyas community in Switzerland
for seven years. In 1984 she graduated in Meditation from RIMU as Sambodhi, M.M., D.Phil.M., Acharya.
Since 1985 she is living in the Osho Humaniversity in the Netherlands. After training with Veeresh, which first began in 1977, she
graduated as a Humaniversity Therapist in 1987. She was
first director of the
community for four years and then director of group organization
for seven years.
Since 1998 she is an Executive Director of the Humaniversity.
She is a Professor in Humaniversity Therapy
and is the
Vice President of the university.
She
met her husband Dharmaraj A. Carrivick in 1996. They married in 2001
on holidays in Australia and are living together in the Humaniversity.
She trains Humaniversity Therapists, and still practices
as a group leader in Humaniversity Therapy, especially
in Primal
issues.
She
is the Leader of the AUM Meditation Leader training
and of the Sex Counsellor
training.
Twice
a year
she leads the Tan-Ju training, which is an emotional and social
education for teenagers.
Chandrika is a championship prize winner in
archery. She trained in Hap Ki Do and is an Osho-Do instructor, the Martial Arts system of the Humaniversity.
She
enjoys children, cooking, ikebana flower decoration, photography, sculpting
